Directive99/51/EC Adaptation to Technical Progress of Annex I for Cadmium: Following a risk assessment and cost/benefit analysis it was decided to extend for a further 3 years the derogations granted to Sweden and Austria, whose legislation concerning the use of cadmium in pigments, stabilisers and plating is more restrictive.
